No Witches Just Superheroes?

No Witches Just Superheroes (NWJS) is a short solo journaling game. Choose among 6 powers, roll your hero name & draw daily event cards.

You'll need:

• a standard deck of cards (32 cards),
• writing material
• and something else (surprise!).
• It's also possible to play by writing on your computer or phone: it won't be the same experience but it can still be fun to create your own unexpected superhero story! You can read a really cool game report on the Solo RPG Voyager blog (thanks!).

NWJS was first published in june, 2021, as part of the 4th issue of the InDie Zine.

InDie Zine?

The InDie Zine is a quarterly publication with short games, articles and illustrations. Everyone can participate, it is a collective project (you can join us!). Each issue focuses on a particular theme. The 4th one was about power: with NWJS, I wanted to talk about power of the people (crowd), superpowers, and power of the State (which was in fact power of the Church in time of the witch hunts in Western countries) . The Ind Of the Year bundle
